This video is pretty hardcore. It's so true that some may be a little awestruck with reality. Some may even think that it can't be true because some don't have the ability to accept reality and may even find it frightening. These kinds of people would only find different ways to shroud themselves in false security by buying even more things. The thing where it talks about items and objects being updated so that you could tell which one is the newer version, it's so true. It's sad that people are often embarrassed to have the earlier version of something and that to be hip you have to have the newer version. It shouln't have to be this way. I really like the part about how it explains the link between work and the difference in today's National Happiness to the National happiness in the 50's. It's so true all this stuff is affecting the need to work and sustain living conditions. People have to work thierselves silly in order to support themselves and many can't find the time to indulge in thier inner happiness. This in turn causes people to buy more things to keep themselves content with life and temporarily happy. This in itself aids in the using of resources in mass amounts because so many have to live like this.
