Annoying songs

Britney Spears-Circus
The Ting Tings-That's not my name
Lady Gaga-Poker face
Sean kingston-911
3oh3!-Dont trust me
These songs were so overplayed on the local radio station, it was unbelievable. At firsty they were okay, then they got old fast. Real fast.
There needs to be an r&b and hiphop station out there. That would be Fantastic.

The weekend

The weekend was so damn refreshing. I couldnt do anything homework wise so i just hungout around the house and played some halo 3, Xbox live On sunday. Saturday was a race for cross country and we all cut down our times a bit. I ran a 22:47 in a 3 mile. My homes Julain smedberg got at least a 20:something. We've been pushing ourselves and got results, The soccer team has been building up that mental confidence as a whole and we've all obtained the mental capacity to go harder than what we think we can. It's all about that mental toughness. Anyway, I thought someone took my laptop bag Friday, they still might have done so, but i found my self staring at it as soon as i walk into Lindeman's room. which leaves me to an optional conclusion.Either I left this Bag here in Lindeman's, or some Basketcase took it and put it in here to mess with my mind, I don't know.
Anyway, Awesome weekend. :]

School Shutdown?

This has impacted us alot already. Some of the decisions made by the Educators to shut down Jv sports teams and other extra curricular activities have definitley taen away from us as students. The Negative to closing down on certain days is that we won't be quite as up to par with education as with a full 5 day week of school. and the educators are right it will make an incline in the financial budget of the school but also creates a decline in where students should be at concerning curriculum. I think this would be a big problem for me, seeing as how im a senior and i need everyday of school i get to help plan for college and prepare for it.

Helping the Homeless

What the church in skowhegan did for the homeless men that seeked shelter, was given them a second chance at life, and maybe to become a better person for the rest of thier life. I have never known that theer was a Shelter nearby at all. I think what the church is doing for these poeple is extraordinary. It tells me that there is still hope for the human race, that we all haven't given in to our own needs and that there are poeple out thier who genuinely want to help others. i would love to volunteer there, and if there was a women's shelter or shelter closer to home then i would no doubt consider it. These poeple need help and the only true comfort in hard times is the help support of others.

The Common ground fair

The common ground fair is unknown to me because i have never attended it. I wish to see it for myself sometime because i love fall time events.

You bring colors like emotion,
Good times and coastin',
Times to be together,

and events to remember forever,
stay dear to me,
before i fall in love with december.

The weekend

It's for the warriors, and i fought hard. Cross country race and soccer game Saturday, on top of working the next morning at 5:00 until 1:00 in the afternoon.
I barely had any room for subtleties but managed some time. Along with that Ot Visited with his boy Wyatt, (whos an awesome lil guy), and his girlfreind Heather who sorry to say but am at a loss of words to say anything great about. She's anti-social and sometimes i thinkshe holds something against me. But whatever, you can't win'em all. This weekend was a blast.

War is Necessary... but can it be Beautiful as well?

I think that these videos have touched my soul and taught me a lesson in a very complex way. I know that war is sometimes needed and in war people are faced to do extremely ugly things. What this section in English 3 has taught me is that there is beauty in almost everything though. Not a physical beauty but more of a beauty among people. I've learned that when even in the darkest days, light will always shine through, that even when people think they have nothing, they realize when a friend is lost that they actually had something beautiful and lost it. I've learned the beauty of creating bonds and freindships pierce the veil of darkness and depression during times of war. I've learned that these piercing lights if put out during such times, in such circumstances, can truly make a person completely lost forever in a forest of Craziness, on the journey through the land named War. Even long after that journey has been conquested.

Girls

They bewilder me sometimes. They love you but they don't want to display affection towards you. Wow... I will probably never completely understand what some girls truly want. I give my heart and get scraps back, show my love and get nothing in return. So maybe staying single until i am prepared to start the American dream, is the best alternative for me. After all what is a relationship but a distraction in high school?

College

I really can't wait to go to college. Dorm life is one of the most unique experiences in the world. your dorm mates become like a second family to you, you can go to class whenever you want, and noone is telling you what to do. I also can't wait to participate in some of the subjects available to take at college.

Influence has never influenced

For me other people's influence doesn't change how i write or feel. To me journaling, whether publicly or writing on a piece of paper and passing it in orivately, has no reflective actions on how i write. When i write it comes straight from my soul, what i think, and what i feel is never altered by what another person says about it. I like blogging because it is alot more fun to have a website to post things on where other people can see it, then to write it on a piece of paper and never get the chance for your thoughts or feelings to be seen. But, it doesnt really change how my thoughts or feelings are written out.

Spartans: The last hope

100 children...
they never wanted this,
but the human race needed them,
hope...
these 100 children were the only last bit they had left,
once the covenant glassed over 12 planets...
billions were taken,
something had to be done.
They were only six year olds chosen to become the best The human race ever seen,
Spartans.

DNA augmentation left only 30 Spartan childeren left at the end of training,
8 years of playgrounds and jungle gyms and field exercises,
In the field they were the best,
Scouting terrain for snipers with paintballs, digging up live tank mines and becoming stronger and faster than what human anatomy could even picture,
thier tactics were so flawless they were like warriors with ESP communication,
Only 30 chosen few adapted to the augmentation,
The ones who didnt...
well they were injured, mutated, crippled for life,
the few that didnt die from augmentation,
were promoted to colonels, brigadier generals, captains,
they were the smartest,
Deja and Petty officer Chief Mendez taught them everything,
they were smarter then the best Naval scholars,
14 year olds with the body of 18 year old olympic athletes, capable of lifting 3 or 4 times thier body wieght and these children werent small by any means each wieghing over at least a buck fifty,
each able to run burts of up to 30 mph.
When in armor they looked like gods,
they were gods,
thier suits enhanced thier abilities,
the spartans were the only ones fit to wear them,
any normal human would have broken bones in thier armor,
The suits enhanced reflexes, speed and strength far past what any normal human could control,
only the 30 chosen few,
with bones denser then titanium and lighter then feathers
and with the strength of 10 men,
Yes these were the best, these were Spartans.

The playgrounds...
these were no ordinary playgrounds,
10-20 meters high,
with suspended platforms, walls for rappeling, monkey bars,
this playground was built for marines,
not children,
but these childeren were like no other,
they were taught to win as a team,
if ur team didnt win,
you didnt win,
and when your team finished last you were punished,
on the days they didnt train,
they were in a virtual classroom taught by an AI,
her name was Deja she had a conscience,
she was unique,
thier new mother,
much like other AI's,
she taught them everything,
algebra, geometry, trigonometry, english, history, battle tactics,
and what was not taught in the classroom,
was learned in the field and on the playground taught by Chief petty officer Mendez,
Thier new father,
the only family they had was each other.

These childeren were ready,
ready to fight the war the covenant started,
The Spartans were ready.

Halo: The Fall of Reach

Recently i have been reading the Halo prequel series to the acclaimed xbox videogame series. If you loved the game series and played the games with the wonder of where the covenant came from, where the brutes fit in, and where the flood is from, then you should read the prequel book series. They reveal many secrets about the games like the origin of the halo rings, and why master chief is the last spartan, and where the rest of the roughneck MJOLNIR suit wearing spartans disappeared to, while still wanting that action-packed, supense-filled, solid storyline, I highly recommend reading these books.
